Linkinus 1.3 Released
There has been a fair amount of hype surrounding this latest release from the people behind Linkinus, this version has been quite quick in coming to us
but is packaged, full, to the brim, literally with new features and functions which have to be tipping Linkinus to be the premier mac client for IRC - or at least somewhere amongst those at the peak.
In the mass of changes comes things like a whole rework of the entire GUI, they have added some simple yet much needed new features like automatic reconnection upon abnormal disconnection - a new method to auto complete - there ( in there words ) half baked log viewer has been scrapped in favour of plain text files and spotlight integration to allow easier searching of log files.
All in all Linkinus comes across as a very powerful client with still a whole lot of potential to progress further as it looks to push aside the likes of Snak, IRCle and Colloquy at the top of the mountain for IRC Mac clients
