The first release of the year of 2008 for the EPIC team brings to the table several fixes in there previous versions and is looked upon as a mainly bugfix release but is EPIC Updates suggested to be updated as soon as possible due to major issues ( well major enough ) in the previous release, announcement like so:

This is a stable alpha release that fixes all of the known issues with epic5-0.3.6 and epic5-0.3.7 and is stable enough to be targeted by scripts and packagers.

There were some nasty bugs in epic5-0.3.6 and epic5-0.3.7, so it's recommended that you upgrade to this version if you are using those.
