w00t has announced, already the next alpha release of the 1.2 series, this version brings into the fold a whole mass of fixes and improvements which only brings toInspIRCd 1.2.0a2 TexasLonghorn Released myself one question "when does the inspire team sleep ?" - they seem somewhat unstoppable these days churning our quality releases in quick succession but always with a huge list of fixes, this release is no different.

w00t posted the below regarding the TexasLonghorn release:

We *did* only release a1 last week, but a lot of fixes have gone in since then, mostly trivial fixes to protocol or snotices. A few minor features have gone in also, MAP may now be requested remotely (/map server.mask), and m_shun is now in the core distribution - please use it wisely.

ezbounce 1.99.13

The latest version of ezbounce is out and about this version is mostly a fix and cleanup release with various issues that have been found in the earlier version being fixed.1.99.13 There have as a result of one or two fixes been a change to some of the configuration options names. The only new feature would be that in the form of basic flood protection which only works when the BNC is in detached mode - makes sense Smile

  • The File Library has been renamed to the "Virtual File System," abbreviated as the "VFS." This is a more fitting name for what it tries to do.
  • Certain configuration options and user preferences have been renamed as a result. The old names will continue to be handled.
  • Improved VFS handling of corrupt database files.
  • Added a basic flood protection mechanism (currently only used while detached).
  • Added more logging to user Event Log
  • Cleaned up logging in proxy log and user chat logs.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur after rehashing.
  • Documentation updates.

ezbounce 1.99.14

A new bugfix version of the popular bouncer client ezbounce has been release - this versions looks to address to issues one of which is a GCC version specific fix and the other being logging not working while detached. The announcement reads like so: This is a small update that fixes a couple of annoying problems: logging while detached was broken, and the source code did not compile under GCC 4.3.0. There are a few other changes, but no new features.1.99.13
