This is actually a post i missed some time ago the Autumn leaves project ( PHP IRC Bot ) not only renamed itself into the more simple 'Autumn' project but also reworked and recoded its entire framework from the ground up support many new functions and a brand new shiney API. Guppy announced the latest release of eggdrop in the form of eggdrop 1.6.19, this is mostly a fix release which does only contain one note worthy point and thats the requirement of TCL equal to or greater than 8.5. This is the first release of eggdrop since July 2006 so it has been sometime since the last version.

• Update the recommended TCL version to 8.5
• Updated Copyright dates
• load blowfish by default
• added a TCL to handle the PONG :<cookie> junk on some EFnet servers
• add a simple TCL to handle the PASS <numbers> junk on some Undernet servers
• add support for chanmode +T
• CTCP parsing was broken by the servmsg.c buffer overflow patch
• Fixed a couple of typos in the FEATURES file.
• Fixed two buffer overflows in servmsg.c (CVE-2007-2807).

Proton has hinted that a 3.0.3 version of EnergyMech is likely on the way - the announcement which was ( as ever ) short and mixed reads like so: Yeah, we're not dead quite yet. I (proton) have been poking around the source these past couple of days, fixing and adding some little ideas I thought up. All those suckers still using 2.x can burn in hell. For some sideorder news, we got an email from a chinese domain registry saying that they had a company who wanted to register a bunch of "energymech" domains and was asking if it would affect us and our "intellectual property". Yeah right...
